Artist Bio
Kim Kleinhardt is a visual artist residing in Traverse City, MI. She majored in Art at Central Michigan University in Mt Pleasant MI & received her BS in Art Education in 1977. From there Kim taught art at Mid Michigan Community College & also Clare High School. During her years at Clare High School, she developed a gallery management class where her students actively ran a professional art gallery in downtown Clare. After completing thirty years of service, Kim retired from teaching in 2014. After retiring Kim continued her 515 Gallery exhibitions until closing the gallery due to Covid in 2020. Her sole focus at this time is creating meaningful compositions in her studio in Traverse City, MI.
